Does it momentarily go out when you close the door and depress the door latch completely?

Your door optics are not working then.

You can verify by trying JIM's suggestion with test 13-1 in REPLY #9.

If it still doesn't work, shop for new ones.

I just got through changing them from another known working set of optics and no change and the ones I removed from the empire to the other cabinet work on that so the optics are good

problem solved including the bonus issue, can['t really tell you how i did it because i don't even know, i finally somehow got it out of 3100 tilt, then it went to 43 so i messed around with the reels switching them with each other and that finally cleared then it went to tilt 49 now i'm really frustrated so i decided to take a break and about 5 minutes later it just decided it was done messing with me and enabled the whole game issue including the bonus.

So i want to thank each of you for your patience and your expertise and putting up with my inexperience on these machines, your help is truly appreciated, so thanks again people.

You probably aligned the door optics when you swapped them.

Watch the Credits Played window on the right-hand side when you close the door.
Whatever number is in there, will momentarily go out for like a few seconds and then come back on, when you close the latch.
