The photo I attached is just an example of the type of connector I'm looking for, but with a different pin count. I like having the capability of making my own wiring harness in a pinch when I can't find what I want. So far, I've only worked with the white Molex Mini-fit connectors. The harness I'm currently considering making has the mini-fit plus a black 5-pin connector. It is the harness for a Spectrum progressive display. The one you just plug into power and Netplex. They are hard to find when you want one.
I plan to add a Spectrum display to one of my machines. One of my other machines has one so I can copy the harness on it. I might change my mind about this whole thing If I can't find a reasonably priced terminal crimper. The Molex brand crimper for these type terminal pins are insanely overpriced, ranging from $300 to over $400. There must be some lower priced brands. Molex does make a statement that these terminal pins crimp well in after market crimpers.
