What are YOUR favorite AVP games?

I recently discovered this game thanks to another member here. I really like it but it's a lottery version locked into a fixed denom and payout %. Game plays fine but will not integrate into a GK menu. If anyone has a full version of this, PM me. I would be interested.

I think because I didn't install a certain GT file, that's why the game doesn't allow me to enable it....like yours Robin.
You need, now I'm guessing, a GC file to run that game?
There's a "compatability" list of which games run with certain GT/GC files....I'm checking it out now.
Once I play a few, maybe I can throw in my favorites for Yoeddy....lol

Check your email. Every Gcon or GC requires a corresponding GT (game type).

That's what I kinda figured....sort of like an IGT Vision/Reel Touch machine....needs certain files to work with each other.

I just installed that "Keeping it Hot3x4x5x"...I'm really impressed with it...The Reel Depth graphics are really cool!

Love your list of games, especially Wolf Run Dynasty but were you able to figure out how to change games and exit when done playing it?

Oops, got carried away. The list would be longer if I had a MLD. Wolf Run Dynasty is very cool but a pain to cash out when you want to change games. Frantic Antics is cool, especially for the kids and kids at heart.

In no particular order:

Cash out then select a different game, add credits and play different game at least once or it will go back to the previous game if I remember correctly. Might need the "more games" scroll bar turned on also I don't remember for sure. I removed the game so when I have friends playing they don't have issues and can easily change games. So its been awhile.

So I just read (I think) that I can get the Little Shop of Horrors game for the G23?! One of my all time favorite games..... What's the best way to do this? I'm so dang excited right now.

Hi cadreamer, yes you can install Little Shop of Horrors but you will need an ekey 7 to do this. You should definitely invest in one when you can as any changes to the system that you want to make will need an ekey and if you run into any problems you will need both an ekey and a diagnostic key to fix. Hope this helps.

So after more research it looks like I have a G20 not the G23 and I was told I'm unable to upload Little Shop of Horrors unless I have the 3D Monitor of which I was also told I do not have.

I'm surprised at the cost of the eKey7 software/USB Drive. Why is it so expensive?

The ekey 7 isn't a usb drive, it's a hardware key authenticator.   Because they are very difficult to clone, they're expensive.

The diag key is just the proper software on a usb flash drive, but to do anything with your AVP, you absolutely need both of these to manage your machine.

You don't want to have to rely on someone else to do almost anything with your machine. 

A bonus...   If you have serveral AVP machines.  You only need the one ekey7.   It's kind of like the "member fee" for the AVP club.  If there happen to be others in your vicinity with AVP machines, you could even share one.  lol    But that doesn't happen that often.

If you have those, the other things you need are far less expensive.

Also, while MLD machines are nice.  The screens fail more often, they generate a lot of heat and the fans in them often get neglected and heat kills a component in them easier.

But for your first machine, a standard screen really is the best.  It's the easiest to work with to learn the AVP system, and it has far more games available for it compared to an MLD machine.

Machines with an MLD screen will play NON-MLD games, so I don't understand your statement.  If you have 50 MLD games and 100 NON-MLD games, The machine with an MLD can play 150 games while the NON MLD can only play 100. 

So I would say having an MLD screen opens you to far more games.
