The MPU really looks great, nothing appears to be a problem, no meltdown anywhere. The Deox cleaner I need will be delivered by the mail in a couple of days. I read it works really well on cleaning the MPU. If this doesn't work, I will have it reconditioned.

So, the MPU is officially dead. Someone give it a proper funeral.

Seriously, I am sending it to K-LAR for repairs, I have done everything I could do to the MPU and now the only thing left is have it diagnosed, repaired by Alan.
As I explained to Alan this V5500 has made a full circle, made in Las Vegas, sold to Primm Casino in 1995, sold in 2001, shipped off to Alaska, now the MPU is heading back to Las Vegas 2024.

I have all of the receipts, the seller for the casino, and I have the casino where it came from. Also I have the MGM on the hopper builder information. MGM owned the casino in that time frame.
Also, I have more documentation on the V5500, so it's imperative that I restore it, it's a documented piece of history.

While I have the MPU in the shop, time to work on the remodel of the cabinet, building the coin drop, drilling holes in the top, building the door, installing the lock, power supply, etc.

Got the door assembled, continuous hinge installed, cleaned up the exterior of the cabinet,

More cabinet refurbishing.
Installed a temp lock until the ABLOY lock comes in from EBay. I realized that I can get these locks cheaper if I get them without any keys, since I am going to rekey them to my slot machine key.
Drilled the holes into the top of the cabinet for mounting the V5500, coin drop and the 110V electrical cord.
I installed a lock bracket, and painted it.

I remembered that the back wooden back panel had staples to hold it on to the cabinet, removing it damaged the panel. The solution was easy peasy, I trimmed off the back panel, removing the damage.

Alan, Badbaud has my MPU at K-LAR now I wait for a diagnosis. Hopefully he will determine what is wrong with the MPU, and resolve the issue.

Thanks, I still have to cover up the pull handle holes, I have a Bally cover plate coming in, I am trying to do my best.

Most of the slot machine cabinets look good, I have one that I am not satisfied with, with and I will probably replace in the future.

I had a temp lock while I ordered the ABLOY lock. Finally, the ABLOY lock arrived and I rekeyed it to my ABLOY key that fits all of my slot machines.

I realized that I made a mistake, the locks for the "bill stacker assembly" was not going to work. I have everything working on the DBV-200 and I needed to use the same ABLOY key for everything else keyed alike. I was able to locate the obsolete locks, key them up, and install them.
All of the ABLOY locks are period correct, purchased from Las Vegas, so were good.

One thing that is very important for me is to keep the slot Machines to one key, and even with the locks being obsolete, I can maintain them.

Thank you. I have more in my collection, however I use only these three for my slot machines.

Update: I am waiting for K-LAR to finish up my motherboard, MPU, I am so thankful for them repairing it.
