First owner Konami kp3 slot help

I am new to slots I purchased 3 kp3 machines from a casino/bingo place that was shut down. I got them home and all 3 do the same thing. I plug them in the bill acceptor runs and all the lights and fans come on. The screens shows standby for about 30 seconds then goes black the lights around the machines keep cycling threw different colors but that's all that happens. I see there Is a Lan port do they need to be connected to internet? And there is 2 game cards and 2 chips in each machine. Thank you in advance for any help.

i to am a first time kp3 owner,rapid revolvers and there is almost nothing out here about them,,mine just did what yours have done,the first time i installed the new to me board they did come on and boot up?but there was a few errors,but just tried  them again and exact same thing as you are describing happened,,did you ever figure  yours out,maybe video card?

i hope this helps you as i found out why my monitors were not coming on,,i was trying to use a konami podium clear card and got only the black screens,,,i retried using a konami general clear card and was happy to see all monitors came on and looked great,i do still have a couple of errors to figure out,hope it helps you

Good progress. Can you elaborate on what you mean when you say you retired using the general clear?
Are you saying there are two types of clear and the general clear worked better ?

chris,,,yes there must be a difference ,,i bought a  kp3 podium clear card from member here 40.00 dollars,never had a problem with any of his stuff,,but only got the black screens you were talking about with it,,,the games for my konami rapid revolver units i also bought from another member here,came with a free clear card,what it says on card(konami general clear),when using it,,screens come on and it boots up correctly,,,it may only be for the specific machines i have,,(rapid revolvers?)  they have kp3 in lower main cpu and older kv2 for the top box board,im trying to iron out the last few errors on my first of 3 units i have,,there is absolutely no info,i can find out on them,would be nice if i could find a service manual,or look at one somewhere to make sure all wires and plug ins are in place in the top box board,i might be buying a kv2 board,

I think there's a Konami manual in the NLG File System?
I know I gave all my Konami stuff to NLG a few years ago.
I might of mis-named it "KXP" or something...lol
