I am a newbie so please bare with me...I have a Bally GameMaker V7200 with a WBA-11-SS transport/WBA-10-SS head that has the ID003 V3.60-30 (F452) EPROM installed.  I have ripped this entire unit apart:

1. Polished every shaft
2. Cleaned every gear, belt, bushing, rollers, plastic, etc.
3. Checked continuity of every harness
4. Bench tested the motors
5. Checked all the circuit boards (one board had a solder drop shorting two diodes, that I cleaned up)

Cabinet voltage checks out, I applied an external 12VDC to run DIP switch test and nothing...not a single LED.  I suspect the EPROM may be bad.  I did some research and it seems I should be able to convert the 11-SS transport to a 13-SS by replacing the main board and transport/cabinet harnesses.

Does anyone have any input on troubleshooting this unit further or where I can find a conversion kit?

Thanks!

Welcome to the NLG forum.
There are some members who are very literate with BV's. I have heard of the EPROM's going bad, you might want to reach out to one of our supporting businesses listed on the NLG front page. K-Lar or Midwest slots are good places to start. I'm pretty sure K-Lar can get you a known good EPROM and/or repair the unit if it isn't responding. The LED's being completely dead sounds like more than just an EPROM issue.

Thanks for the info, I will reach out to them.  Should I really have posted this under the Bill Validator Topic?

No worries, the moderator can move it if necessary. Your description was really good, it included the game and the BV info, if anyone searches this subject it can be found.

Check with NLG member Jim Midwest Slots. He has WBA's for sale.
