Service Manual for Bally "Yankee Doodle Dandy" 4 reel EM Slot Machine

Hi, All:

I started a thread for this machine a while back, but now I can't find it back.  It would be nice to have a button for "view your posts" or some such.  That said,  I have been looking for a hopper mech for this machine.  I just bought one on ebay, untested, with the wrong payout disk, for $275 with shipping and taxes.  Hopefully it will work.  Price seemed pretty steep.  Now I need a service manual.  In the previous thread it was speculated that it might be a model 1024.  I had a reply from Wolftalk that I could get a manual at this site:  https://bingo.cdyn.com/slots/bally_manuals/

I didn't see anything there that seemed to match my machine.  Can anyone help me out choosing what to download?

This is going to be a steep learning curve for me.  I've done Jukes, Pinballs, Arcade games, but never a slot machine.  I'm sure it's going to be frustrating at times, but looks like a darn fun and challenging project.

BTW, suspected model is 1072, NOT 1024 as I stated in my previous post.

The documentation you need can be found at the link provided by Wolftalk. For your machine I would suggest downloading manuals #2400, #2600, #500, and #500 supplement. Since Bally was constantly updating and making changes, you’ll find some manuals include earlier revisions of parts and others do not. These are the only manuals you need.  #2400 by itself is enough to get through the machine. All models shared the same basic parts. For the hopper, you’ll have to use the schematic suggested in your earlier thread and then find a payout board that matches your payouts. That your particular machine isn’t listed specifically in the list of manuals isn’t an issue. It’s a basic 4 reel machine and the functions of the machine follow those described in manual #2400.

Thanks!  Can't wait to get started.  I already know from someone here that the reels are installed in the wrong order.  That can't be a good sign.  I'd rather learn on one that was unmolested.

Select any of the options
Down under the navigation shortcuts is a button that says Profile Info
There is a dropbox of options, one of them is “Show Posts”

There is also a search box on the top right of the screen.  Search for: Yankee Doodle
