I’m 95% sure the board in this machine is for a different game. Which would explain the payout issue and why the progressive doesn’t work. Any ideas on how to check?

Post pic of reel strips and close up of MPU SS chip.  Hopper brake needs cleaning or spring is missing.

Okay I’ll try it. Either way the triple diamond on any spot should pay 4 coins. It’s landed in the center many times and didn’t pay

Look at the numbers on the bottom of the strips, lowest number on reel#1, middle number on reel #2, highest number on reel #3

Is lowest number on reel#1 etc?  Not sure which game your SS chip is for but it's only 90%.  I can send you a higher % chip that I know is for triple diamond.

SS3287 is a 2CM Red White and Blue.  You have the wrong reel PROM installed.

Send a PM to member RB, he'll get you the correct one for your machine.

The MPU board no doubt came from that machine.  Fix them both  :yes:   Check with Jim at Midwest slots, he may have a one.

Your hopper brake is broken.

Basically you hit cash out.
Power is applied to the hopper
Coins go past the optics and when the requisite anoint is paid out power is cut.

When power goes out the hopper brake solinoid releases and a spring is supposed to pull the brake in and stop the wheel. When this does not occur it keeps spinning. Momentum…,subsequently more coins are paid out and the 3100 is a coin out TILT.

Pull the hopper, look at the back of it there is a small spring missing.
You can steal one from a bic pen and cut to size. It will get you by until you can properly replace.
