Beginning in year 2000, IGT began offering a multidenominational coin acceptor as an option in the S2000 for denominations of $1.00 or larger. It was called an X-Mark Xeptor, made by IDX Inc. Two models were introduced for the S2000, depending on coin/token size, the X-10 and X-50. These coin acceptors have the capability of accepting as many as 6 different coins/tokens. Each coin/token type is simply programmed in.
These two coin acceptors, X-10 & X-50, had an added option of a Token Diverter Driver (DD-1050) that you could add to your machine. The purpose was to control the diverter solenoid to sort the coins/tokens between the hopper and the overflow chutes. You can program which coin you want deposited in the hopper, depending on hopper setup, and all other coin/token types would be diverted to an overflow bucket. This Diverter Driver has one cable which connects to the X-Mark acceptor and two leads that connect to the solenoid.
I am searching for that Token Diverter Driver DD-1050. I figure any machine equipped with an X-Mark X-10 or X-50 coin acceptor might have a Diverter Driver with it. If the owner has no interest in a multi-coin setup, maybe they would be interested in selling it. Or perhaps someone has a Diverter Driver in their parts collection?
