Bally S6000 Blazing 7's CHAM battery voltage?
« on: Yesterday at 09:29:51 AM »
We just purchased a Blazing 7's and in the upper unit the previous owner put in two AA batteries. Does anyone know what size battery should be installed? We replaced the MPU battery with a 3.6. We are trying to clear a C10 and figured that we should start with the proper battery. Thanks, Dave

It is important that you put the rechargeable Panasonic battery back in. It is not recommended to put a non rechargeable battery there because when the machine is on voltage is supplied to recharge the battery and applying voltage to a non rechargeable battery like the AAs that are there is not good. A new Panasonic will hold the data for over a month on the cham unit but you should power up the machine at least once a month to keep the data in the cham unit.
You will have to reload the cham data using a laptop with PSP software.

Thank you. Reloading cham data software. Now that sounds like a problem.

That probably helps a lot. My son-in-law has some computer skills. But not me. Do you know if the machine can run without the progressive?

Yes it will work without the progressive. As long as the settings in the 11d menu, option 2 and 7 are set at 0
