Ok.. So let me get this straight. It matters what CF card you use to clear the backplane. If so, what CF card should I be clearing the backplane with?  Thanks

I'm grasping at straws, but in studying the situation in seems to me the whole problem centers on a failure to clear the ram memory. Either due to error in procedure, wrong clear card or a corrupt clear card.

When you go through the clear procedure, what clear message do you get on the screen.

Attached are a couple of pages from the Field Setup Guide "FG-OS370B", the manual for your specific operating system 370B. If you would like me to send you a copy of the entire manual, private message me with your personal email. The file is too large to post here. According to the compatibility table, you have the correct Clear card, though I wonder if it is corrupt. In the device setup, when an incorrect device is selected, it will result in a COMM error. If the selection is locked and cannot be changed, you must do a ram clear in order to correct it. As you have shown, when you do a Clear and go to device setup, the incorrect printer is already selected and is locked. This tells me the Ram Clear failed.

After going through and checking all the files info and clearing the ram twice. It now is showing this.. Aggh. So frustrating! What is GAT? Oh and the clear shows successful. The problem must be with the game drive because when I install the other game I have the printer works without a hiccup.

I have no idea what the message means. Is it waiting for authentication of game software?

I was able to get with the seller of the drive and he is going to send me a new drive to try. Keep your fingers crossed. I really appreciate all the help Dailey! I will keep you updated on what happens for posterity sake.  Thanks!

Ok.. Update. I received the new SSD with the Illinois game chest and it is doing the same thing. So I’m thinking software problems.

Describe exactly what happens when you do a clear.
1. Does it confirm the NVRAM and EEPROM clear was successful?
2. Are you able to select the Future Logic printer in the setup?

That last error message of the printer disabled for GAT might be the system trying to authenticate the printer firmware. More of the communication problem.

So... after getting another set of software it's still failing to see the printer. It turns out that the software purchased on ebay is the culprit. It's a drive with the Illinois game chest. the software must be programed that way because every other game and game chest works with the printer installed. I wish the Illinois game chest had worked; it had a lot of cool games on it.  Thanks to all the members for their help!

Why would they sell software that doesn't work with a printer?
That doesn't make sense.
It doesn't sound the seller tested the software with a printer like yours.

I know.. right!  I tried everything that was proposed. But the machine would tell me this. See photo!
