Hello again
It seems like we only talk when I have a problem?
So, I loaded up a new SSD for my G23 (op 14) and I enabled Little Green Men which I find out requires a joystick. It created a joystick error that I was able to wipe away. However it left a joystick ball lamp error that is was more difficult. The machine has a TITO that was working fine, no printer no bill validator. I did a complete wipe of all devices including the SSD. I have gone thru the setup several times, if you try to cash out you get this menu with no way to cash out. The TITO adds credit normally as it did before. If you wipe the machine, go thru the setup and go to a game, this menu come up automatically and adds credit. I think it is using the CPU BIOS to boot to a demonstration menu? How could this change without going into the BIOS and changing the settings? I removed the battery thinking it would go back to default and operate normally, no luck. If that is even the problem?
I looked at the CPU BIOS by adding a keyboard, but I have no idea what to do with it if it is the problem? Is there a demo setting in there?
this is making me nuts!
I appreciate your thoughts.
Mike

Problem solved.
I never got an understanding of what enabled the demo modes when using the cash out button. I did learn that it had different menu lines in different  games. Within the menu you could force bonus games with unbelievable wins, add free games, add credits, force different progressive wins, force the largest win, and start an attract mode on the upper monitor!
Installing a later operating system solved the issue and the machine set up without issues.
So, my guess it was a hidden function of the show chips installed and triggered by some setting in the setup menu?
I found no documentation on what is hidden in the chips.

Sounds like you were able to bypass the joystick as well, how did you do that?
