Everi Player Classic button configuration
« on: March 03, 2025, 07:23:09 AM »
This is an Everi Player Classic cabinet with a 14 button panel. You can see that two of the buttons are chromed over.  I'm running Double Diamond on this machine. During startup, the selection of button panels is an option.  If i don't select the 14 button option, then not all of the buttons will light.

My challenge is that the Double Diamond game I'm running doesn't match up with the 14 button panel.

I can't independently select to play 1, 3, 5, or 9 lines by pushing the appropriately labeled button, nor can I select to bet 1, 2, or 3 bets per line.  With the current setup, I can only select to play 1, 3, 5, or 9 lines by pushing the 1 Line button.   The 3 Line, 5 Line, and 9 Line buttons are non-responsive, but lit.  The Bet 1 per Line button results in 3 line bet, the Bet 2 per Line button results in a 5 line bet, and the Bet 3 per Line button results in a 9 line bet. All buttons are lit.

I believe there is a mismatch between the game and the button panel or that I'm missing a setup option???

So, at least three options:
1.) Replace the 14 button panel with a button panel from a Player Classic Signature cabinet.  This is referenced as a 4 button panel. Looking.
2.) Change the game theme. Don't know which Everi game work with a 14 button panel. Looking.
3.) Change the Double Diamond game settings.  I don't know what these new settings would be.  Need help here.

Thanks for reading my post and thanks for any suggestions.

14 Button is the correct panel as it is a 27 max credit game. The 1-2-3 buttons are multipliers, 9-18-27.

Thank you, Dale.

What do you do with the 5 Line option?  I didn't see a 10 Bet option (2 bets per line) or a 15 Bet option (3 bets per line).

I'll go back into the bet configuration choices and check for an option that would activate a multiple on the 5 Line option.

The paytable states "Multiply Non-Progressive Wins by Bet Line", and I want to get the full value of win.  As it's configured, I can only place 1 Bet per line, whether it's 1, 3, 5, or 9 lines.

Thanks, again.

Sorry it took so long to get back to you. Life happens.

I've attached a pic of the bet configuration options and a pic of the button test in the configuration menus.  On my machine, the buttons identified as "Bid Level 1" and "Bid Level 5" are chromed over.  Hopefully, you can see that in the previous pic of the actual button panel.

With the bet configuration 1, 3, 5, 9, 18, 27 selected as depicted in the attached pic, the following results:

The "1 Line" button with repeated pushes will advance the bet from 1 to 3 to 5 to 9 to 18 to 27.  I'm assuming the 18 and 27 are multiples of a 9 line bet?  The 3 Line, 5 Line, and 9 Line buttons are non-responsive.

A Single push of the "Bet 1 per Line" button results in a 3 line bet. A Single push of the "Bet 2 per Line" button results in a 5 line bet. A Single push of the "Bet 3 per Line" button results in a 9 line bet.

Confusing isn't it???   :Scratch-Head:

Dale, could it be that changing the denomination would change the bet configuration options and/or default?

No, the denom and the percentage is set separately but on the same page. When the denom is set, you also set the percentage, you can't move on until both are set.

Agree, thanks.  I went back into the configuration menus to mess around with the denom, pay table, and bet configuration.

As you stated when you select a denom, you must select a pay table/RTP or you can't move on to the next screen which is bet configuration; such as 1, 3, 5, 9, 18, 27.

Selecting any one of bet configurations after selecting any of the denom/pay table selections results in the button responses as I described earlier. This leads me to the conclusion, and i may certainly be wrong, that the game cards I have for Double Black Diamond are programmed for a Player Classic Signature cabinet which has a 4 button panel.  It may be the case that Player Classic Signature cards can play in the Player Classic cabinet, but cards programmed for the Player Classic cabinet cannot work in the later player Classic Signature cabinet.

On a positive note, with enough clicks on the "1 Line" button I can bet 27 (a multiple of 9 lines with 3 bets per line) and get 3 times the value of a line hit, which generally keeps me in the money.   :applause:

Looks like you have the M26 square.... You can play almost anything reel on there just by using a newer OS.

Dale, would you please unpack what you wrote?  I'm feeling my way through understanding the nuances of this machine and need more granular info.

What is a M26 square?

What is meant by "any reel"?

What is meant by "a newer OS"?

Thanks, again, for providing your Everi expertise.

The M26 is a cabinet choice in your machine with the right software.

Any reel cabinet, mechanical standard, mechanical standard with boost, etc. These are selections in cabinet choice.

Newer OS and digest are newer DATED cards. Newer DATED Red digest have more games on them.

Thanks, Dale.  Including yourself, what NLG Members sell or trade Everi game kits, parts and/or games?  The Everi info on NLG doesn't seem as abundant as other manufacturers.

Not sure, I do know the Casinos are putting a lot more in. Maybe no demand. What kits do you have available? I am really interested in more Skyline kits. I am looking for a Signature Machine right now, the newest Player Classic. I have 18 kits that work in various cabinets....., Unfortunately there are a few nice games that are locked...... someday, we will crack that, lol. You can use my email dalebeckster@hotmail.com
