Here's my two cents on this.
I don't think anybody uses "Partial-Pay" around here.
I tried it once on a test machine to teach myself how it works years ago, but never kept it set that way.
For home machines, people usually cash out entirely one way or another...just like at a real casino by either with a ticket or empty out a whole coin hopper or set the limits lower, the machine locks up and an attendant knocks off higher wins with the key.
Partial-pay is maybe for people that don't have a lot of coins in the hopper, set their coin hopper to pay out partially like maybe a 100 coins to play with, and the rest by a ticket?
Quite frankly, I've NEVER seen a casino use partial-pay and I don't know why IGT added that option to their machines.
Maybe some jurisdictions require that?
