runaway threshold

The prominent slot machine YouTuber LadyLuck HQ encountered an error on a Phoenix Link Queen Chiu machine: The meter increment has exceeded the runaway threshold. | G2S Device Is Disabled (G2S _cabinet[1])

She was playing $100/spin, then switched to $300/spin and the error occurred. Someone said that this error occurs when playing more than $250/spin. Does anyone have insight on why this happens?

Probably a timer that checks for increments above $1000. If you insert $1000 at once it will also give a similar error (at least in NSW Australia, which has a "paltry" $10 max bet).

Vertex out of sync. Machine meter and vertex meter has an anomaly.
