IGT PE door open tilt

Door open won’t clear, even with switch jumped.

Using self-test door switch pops up immediately.

Is there something I can look at?

Test the continuity from the switch to the pins on he connector that plug into the board. One is green and always connected to ground. The other is orange/green if I recall. Its the same color wire on the connector side and its the only eire with that color pattern.
If those are good its possible the switching IC associated with that switch is shorted. That trace from the connector is pretty easy to follow, it goes to a diode first then directly to the IC.

On closer inspection,  a couple of the pins on one of the board connections were bent.

Working perfectly now,  fun old school machine.  Thanks for the idea,  I was chasing my tail!

Your timing is coincidental. I recently replicated the wire loom in order to make a stand alone button panel so I can run a PE board outside of the machine. It was a learning experience for sure and I gained a lot of insight about what is taking place with each switch and how it routes through the machine. That particular switch makes a direct run to the connector so I assumed you would find a broken wire, pin or trace.
They really are great machines. Simple.
