Ok so I have an Australian sheer magic IGT slot machine converted to 1 dollar coins originally 20cent coins and it’s max payout is set to 300,
how do I set this dip switch so it pays out maximum?
As I would like it to see it payout lots more coins.
I don’t know much about slot machines and have read a lot about dip switch settings but am still a bit confused as to how I set my dip switch to max payout.
I can’t even tell which ones are on and off they all look to be in the middle to me, and also look like they are covered up by a little bit of plastic so they can’t even be switched it’s hard for me to tell as I just reached behind the board to take the pics as I didn’t want to break anything unplugging the board.
Also when I adjust these settings should I unplug the whole board or can I leave it connected?, As I don’t want to break the machine and am worried about if there are any risks in trying to change it to max payout.
All your info would be greatly appreciated.

Need to see the rest of your MPU board.
Turn OFF the machines power switch before removing.

Thank you for the reply, I’m really reluctant to take the MPU board fully off…as I don’t want to brake anything I was only going to take it off if someone said I can definitely can change the dip switch settings to set the machine to max payout instead of 300.
I will take some more clear pics today and hopefully that is enough for you guys to see if it can be done,
I will make sure I get every part of the board clear in the pics…
I can remove the board but like I said I am trying to avoid that as much as I can until I change the switches.

Ok so I managed to get some really good pics that cover about 98 percent of the board and everything can be read quite clearly when you zoom in.

I never had one like that...yours came out before the S+ line....it doesn't have a floor-mounted motherboard.

Is there a label on the back of the door panel?
That label could show you what the dips do for your MPU board.

There is nothing mate I’ve looked everywhere throughout the whole machine can’t find anything at all….i wish there was as I’m not sure how to go about this.

I'm wondering if that's what they call an IGT Fortune I or II ?

I've never had one.
Have to let someone else older than me, to chime in on this one.

Can you post good pics of the inside?
Maybe members like Chris-socal or Badbaud will recognize it and help you out.

Nice looking game.

This looks like a slot game in a PE but it might be a Fortune II
The reason I suspect a PE is that the graphics on the screen are better than what you would typically see on a Fortune II and the volume pot on the front of the board is the same as what you would see on a PE+/S+ so I am suspecting that its a pre-cursor to the PE+ series.

I have never seen one of these in person so my reply is speculative as best.
I would scope through the various tech manuals for the Fortune I, II and PE to see if you can find a MPU image that matches.

Good observations. That onboard transformer is so reminiscent of PE series and agreed that the graphics are more advanced. Very detailed graphics for that era, almost Gamemaker / early GK.

Holy smokes! Great pictures.
Now I can say that I've never seen and Australian IGT video slot.
I'd go with Knagl's suggestion's....find the diagnostic cherry switch or a little white test momentary button.
It may be up maybe behind the power switch box?
Slide that coin hopper outta there...let's see the rest of the guts.

As you can see there is the little test button which just runs through various things but no option to change the payout settings which I went through to try and fix the sound issue which I would like help again with also as someone disconnected all the speakers and there are about 6 plugs which I would love to know how to connect some speakers back up to this machine but first I would like to get to the bottom of how to change my payout to release the max amount of coins more than the 300 currant limit here are some more pics just incase it may help you identify what to do on this machine to change these settings

I understand that you want to raise the coin hopper limits higher than 300...but why?
Because if you get a larger hit, it would take all day to dispense the coins.
300 coins is quite a bit to play with and doesn't empty out the entire hopper bowl.
The extra credits just go to a hand pay that get keyed off...I don't see a printer.

I think you're supposed to hold in the test button for a few seconds to get a menu of some sort to pop up on the screen?
Once you have a menu showing, then you navigate thru it by using the deck buttons.
The deck buttons should be lit up if the lamps are any good.
It's also also possible with your machine that the Jackpot reset key allows you to change some settings once you're in the options of the menu.
We'll figure that out later.

Good pictures but I was hoping to see some pictures of the guts with the coin tray removed & coin hopper pulled out of the machine.
Anyways, there's a couple of tan wires hanging from the test button and power switch....where do they go to on the door?
I tried to point to the tan wires with some arrows.

Hello the most coins it will spit out is about 10 coins it was a 20cent machine before converted to 1 dollar coins, as soon as it reaches 300 credits I have to turn the key to reset it but the most coins this machine will spit out is about 10 $1 coins I would love to see this machine spit out at least 50 or 100 coins as soon as it hits 300 credits the machine then flashes on the screen “call attendant” and the most it ever pays out is around about 10 coins
And once it says call attendant I can’t collect any coins by pushing the collect button I was hoping adjusting the dip switch would allow me to push collect and receive a lot more coins than 10 and also let me keep playing and not say call attendant once it hits 300 credits
I would love to figure out how to do this
