code 61 on slant top IGT

can any one please help me , I have IGT S+ slant top and I just change battery on it and I get code 61 ,according to the manual ,  I pressed self test button for few seconds then code 61 _ 1 showed up , then I closed the door and turn the jack pot key one time and then it tried to reset but it goes back to code 61, any one please know how to clear the machine , thanks.

I know this might be moot but....You did latch the door after shutting it?  If so sounds like the 61 loop. Check on the S+ page for that. Of course I'm stubborn and would try it a couple more times.

yes I did close the door and yes I did try it several times but no luck , I think I am going through loop

try reseating the mpu again

Yes you in the 61 loop and
you need to clear and set up the MPU.

Indeed, the dreaded 61 loop.  You'll need to use a RAM clear chip to clear it.  If your machine has a bill validator, you'll also need a SET chip to re-activate the bill validator after you do the clear.
