Help needed with the Coin-in Jam error

Only other machine is a Bally 6000. Machine worked for a few years after I got it and don't recall why it started with the errors. Only thing I recall doing was disconnecting the wires on the cash-out switch to stop someone from hitting it with very few coins in the hopper. Maybe I hosed something doing that.

That won't hurt anything, unless the disconnected wires are touching something else that they shouldn't be.  Without another machine to test your suspect boards it's hard to say what the real cause is at this point.  If you'd like I'll test them in one of my machines for you.  No charge except for the postage.

I might take you up on that, thanks. I'm going to repair that third 3902 and might just box up all my I/O's and 3902's and ship them to you. Where are you?

To put an end to this story, I found a bad I/O board this is not connected to the inputs that were giving me the error. I had pulled the wires connected to the meters and replaced that I/O board with no luck. Seems the other one was shorting out the SENET buss. Go figure....
