The S+ and the S2000 are different beasts.
The S2000 came out about 2000 where as the S+ stopped production about 1998
Visually they look the same from the outside but the S2000 has dual speakers by the player tracking plate. The S+ are hidden above the coin tray.
The PE+ which you said you were interested in is the same vintage as the S+

The newer ones - similar vintage to the S2000 are Game Kings.

The buttons and wiring harnesses are also internally different between the S+ and S2000

Just don't want you buying the wrong parts as they are not interchangeable.

Jay, please correct me if I am wrong, but S+2000 is 6v, and S 2000 is 12v.

polishdan....there's no such thing as a S+2000.

It's either an S+ machine OR an S2000 machine....two DIFFERENT machines.

Don't want to confuse people doing online searches for answers....lol
