Pixel Rom Signature Error

I have an I-Game I picked up to turn into a game king. I ordered the game king set and installed it and came up with the above error. I checked the dip switches and have them set pxlf 2 on on on off. and pxlf 3 off on on  off
I don't know if I have corrupt pxlf sims or am I missing something? The machine came with no chip set in it so the new set is all I have.

I see the 2 pixel simm's labeled "2 of 3" and "3 of 3".

Is there not a pixel simm labeled "1 of 3" ?

Also, pixel 2 dipswitch doesn't appear to be set as you mentioned (on on on off)??

Set them as follows and see if it helps:

PXLF3 C0001189 16MG 391F 05/12/04 ON ON ON OFF
PXLF4 C0001189 8MG  3AAD 05/12/04 OFF OFF OFF ON

1 of 3 is the cgf sim. I changed the dip switches to as seen in the picture to see if it would change anything. Same error
I tried the dip settings as suggested and came up with the same error.

In that case it sounds like one of your PXL SIMMs is bad/corrupt.  Can you return it for a different set?

I have another set coming tomorrow.(I hope) and if that cures the problem I will send this set back.
I had a feeling that was the problem just making sure I didn't miss anything.

These are the dip switch setting I see on the cards

for a 16 MG PXLF3 -- Dip Switches 1, 2 and 3 on -- 4 off.

for a 8MG PLXF4 -- Dip Switches 4 on -- 1, 2 and 3 off.


Looks like the same as Tilt mentioned.

Thanks I tried those settings and came up with the same error. Hopefully the new set will fix the problem.
The set I have were new in original packaging but guess that doesn't mean they are good.

Received and installed a new came kit and everything worked normal.
