advice needed (S2000 Boards) please
« on: May 24, 2016, 05:08:02 AM »
 Hi,

My questions are the following ones:

Can the board shown on picture 1 be associated with the enhanced board shown on picture 2?

Then, can the programs shown on picture 3 be used on the board shown on picture one? Same question as regards the SIM shown on picture 3?

What is the DSP program shown on picture 3 for?  Where would it be located if used on Picture 1 board?

The programs are for a 4-reel S2000. The fourt reel has got the multipliers .

Hi,

The programs are for a 4-reel S2000. The fourt reel has got the multipliers .

Picture 1 is the standard 50x series board which uses the multimedia board for mounting the sound simm (picture 2). Picture 3 is the enhanced board which is commonly called a 1270 board.

You can use the eproms from 1270 board on the 50x series board with multimedia board for sound (mounts on top of 50x board). The DSP is used only on the 1270 board.

BTW .. The 50x series board and the 1270 board use different mother boards.
