bally 5000-6000 clear chips

i have a set of bally 6000 clear chips. will they work in a 5000 or 5500 game? im going to look at a game, not sure if its a 5000 or a 5500.  are 5000 and 5500 the same??  here is a pic of the game

No, S6000 clear chips will not work in a 5500 or 5000+. They will only work in 6000's.

JJ slots sells chips that work in 5500 and 6000. are they special chips?

When you purchase those chips you must specify which machine they are for when you place the order. They are not selling a "universal" set of clear chips.
