Hello all,
First time slot owner here! 2 weeks in, scored a beauty of an IGT S2000. It's got the game play of the Red, White and Blue but it has the glass of a 1996 Mohegan Sun slot - Red, White and Purple. $1 Denom, 3 Credit Play, Coinless. (Has Printer for ticket, appears disabled currently)
Also seemingly rare, it has a Progressive Jackpot as well, which is also disabled but have never seen a Red, White and Blue (Purple) with a Progressive in my searching.
Now to the question:
I went out of town this weekend, while I was gone my wife turned down the sound to "No Sound" I believe it says, in the Sound Options (Option: [3.2])-> Game Volume setting. The Money Volume is set at 5 currently.
When I came home I thought, "This is boring without sound, what was she thinking.." - I went to turn the volume back up and now it will not let me. It's like the sound has been disabled totally somehow. The only setting that was working was Reel Stop Sound.
When I try to turn it back up/down with Change/Cash Out nothing happens. It does not appear anything else was touched, as she said.
Has anyone seen this issue before? Had no speaker or sound board issues at all before this so I dont think that is the problem, it just appears Ive been locked out of changing the sound volume for Game and Money settings.
Please can anyone help a rookie slot owner out?
**The only side note is, she was up to 800 credits and hit another 240 which triggered a hand pay. She had to turn the key to reset the jackpot as its coinless but apparently the credit limit threshold is $1,000. Would this have caused an issue? The machine still works just as before, except the sound no longer will allow for setting adjustment.
