Bally 5000 plus wrong symbols alignment

Hey,

I have got a Crazy Winners 3CM with the proper U18 U20 but the symbols do not match what the machine pays. On this game the three tapes are the same. I have tried different tapes positions but it never works. Are there different reel sizes?

It is a Bally 5000 plus...

Is it possible the reels are from a slant-top machine instead of an upright model? On slant-tops the reels stop at a different position since the player is viewing them at an angle, instead of the straight-on view that uprights use. Some reel baskets have a screw that holds them to the reel assembly and there are different positions the basket can be mounted in. Also, what do you mean you tried "different tape positions", I thought there was only one correct way to install a reel strip to the reel basket?
