i sat to bypass door optics but not sure which wire are which and can you tell if I am missing the door optics altogether, I keep get close door message.

The optics are missing on the cabinet side. Just above the MEI is where it should mount.

There should be a 2 pin molex connector under the printer.

I don't have instructions on how to by pass the optics but you could probably do a search and find it here on NLG.

To remove the printer .. power off .. remove the harness connection behind and below the printer.
Remove the two screws just below in the front and slide the printer out.
There are 3 nuts that need removed from the inside of the frame that holds the printer.

You be able to see the two wire molex connector there.

maybe a silly question, but do you know if its a white molex connector or a small black molex.

Looks like your missing the doors switch too and mounting bracket..

I have the optic and mounting bracket available that goes there if you want to go that route.

You will need some type of cherry switch.

I have .. the switch .. the optic .. the bracket .. the screws .. to hold the bracket in place as in Gary's picture in reply #12.

The parts are $20 plus actual UPS shipping. Will include door side optics also. I have to drive 44 miles round trip to UPS since it is going to Canada.

BTW .. GTA Slots is in Canada. He has a banner at the top NLG's home page.
