Game king question from newbie

Hi...great forum lots of helpful insight


I own a game king 6.2


Haven't played in awhile and just got a "main battery low" message


I took battery out and replaced it, leaving battery out for hours.


I ended up getting a "ram reset" message and "coin drop tilt" error also


So I ended up resetting machine and everything worked fine, except I lost some software ability like higher denomination settings etc.  no biggie got it working


Woke up this morning to play and got the "main battery low" message again.  I used a new battery


Any ideas?

Sounds like the replacement battery may have been low. If you have a multimeter, you can check the charge of the battery for kicks. I would expect a Low Battery message at around 2.8v.

I tried the other new battery and am now getting "coin out jam  options verification required" message


Same messages are displayed as pending tilts in the attendant menu


When I run a diagnostics//processor board test, the quarts inputs for coin op door, bill validation door, and power supply pulse all alternate flashing as a 1 and a 0

Hmm...well, one problem solved, yet 2 more pop up. With these being inconsistent with the previous errors you had, I would suspect something is either going out or is losing connection. Coin Out Jam makes me think the I/Os. Power off the machine and pull and reseat your I/Os.


Someone will chime in and offer some guidance hopefully.
