Hi and Thank you.
I see in your pic that your connected to the wrong power source. If my memory serves me correct those yellow pairs are 24VAC, not DC. They are there if the machine had electronic starters for the fluorescent lighting which they don't, they have ballasts. So yellow wires not used.
You must connect to that other connector with blue/purple/black wires. The ground from the comparator (black) connects to the BLUE and the yellow from the comparator connects to the middle wire (purple). The black wire next to the purple is not used.
What happens is this; When the door Cherry switch (white pushbutton) senses the door is open OR the door lock optic senses the door is not locked the 8116 cpu disconnects the ground (blue wire) from the comparator and it shuts off. When both the door is closed and locked the ground is active and the comparator is powered up.
To test comparator with door open you need to blind the lock optic (I use elect. tape) and pull out the cherry switch button (just pull it outward and it will stay out about a 1/2" simulating a closed door) You should now see the red LED on the CC-16 light up.
Betcha it works now!
