Why is Winning Bid 2 SUCH a hard game to find?

Dont get me wrong I know its old, but it was popular enough for them to redo a version for bb2, how come it is so hard to get my hands on a copy of winning bid 2? We’re they just really rare when they were renmade for bb2? I dont get it. That next to ruby slippers is my FAVORITE game, if anyone has one there willing to part with consider let me take it off your hands for a good fair price.

It's probably a dongle only game set. They are quite secure from copies.

You can find copys of both games on ebay.
Just gotta know who to ask.
But again they are copys.

How do you know eBay versions are copies?  I was always under the impression that dongles can’t be copied. What gives it away?

They can be and they are being copied and sold. Depending on who you purchased your WMS stuff from it might just be a copy.

So there isn’t any way to identify a dongle as a non-oem version?  Man I’d certainly like to know if there is a way to backup the contents of dongles that I own as expensive as some of these rare games are.  If the dongle goes by the wayside, you’re screwed.

  Totally agree with Jason as long as its a legit backup situation, I just bought my first dongle game and having two more hundred dollar bills (and that was a deal too) be paid brought a tear to my eye😢. I would definitely copy to a jump drive in that situation. But as Ive grown older in the community I’ve become less “NO NON OEM GAME FOR YOU NAZI LIKE” I do feel bad for the company, creators, artist, etc that lose that money. But some of the best games and this is MY favorite right next to ruby I would buy a non-oem copy as long as it was listed at or very close to a non dongle price and came with a working dongle copied or not. Because that’s getting to be the ONLY choice we have.

With no lable..
And im not sure about dongles being copied.
Or if its possible to copy.

Dongles can be copied. But it’s a mess. They are not USB drives they contain a little rom based program as well as their own usb hardware.


There’s a guy in Turkey that claims to be ready and willing for ~$2200. That might be tempting for for 100k software...not slot software.

You are just buying from wrong person. Is there a warranty.??

i’ve personally seen wms cf cards that were 512mb cards that had below the line where the label should be, Print/Put? assembly label here selling on ebay, sg should go after those sellers. it’s easier to copy the cf cards then most think and make them look legit. I’ve only got screwed on wap games. The dongles i would have to imagine would be just like a regular flash drive unless ther’s some encryption key built in the usb ports on cpu or adapters;but i SERIOUSLY doubt it as that would take more time and money  then it would be worth in my opinion.

It is a very cool game. I was able to pick a copy up earlier this year. Yes it is a dongle game. Not quite ready to let it go though.
