WMS BB1 Restarting itself
« on: June 30, 2018, 05:35:54 AM »

I have a BB1 that just restarts itself. I have tried the power supplies, both atx and 24v.

What else can cause that?

Sometimes Heat will cause that.

Also check the memory stick in the CPU

The thermal paste between the heatsink and the cpu goes dry over time.  I would remove heat sink on cpu and clean out the old paste and put new paste.  If you do not completely clean out old paste, it's not going to make a difference, make sure you remove the old past before you apply the new one.

I agree with Rick.  Thermal paste is probably the problem.  I have seen this before.  Make sure also the cpu door is installed.  This allows cool air to be drawn accross the cpu heat sink.
