S+ no error but doesn't work

I have put the MPU in my other machine it works fine no issues so this tells me the board is good.
I also took the CC out of my working machine and put it in the non working machine no difference.Flashing insert coin and the coin drops straight through to the tray.


I checked the power on the molex plug going to the CC its 25.3 vac the cc is a CC-16D prior to me getting it, it was a $1 machine with a 10-33 comparator
i don't know if they reset it or not.

My coin comparator is a 24VAC. Yours says 13VDC.

I saw that however I took the one out of DDD that is a 16D 4c and it did the same thing so I measured the feed 24.7vac so same same.  I have another 4C that I will try.
i was that as the $1 one says 24vac right on it.

Yeah I'm no comparator expert. Here's the deal. Your voltage coming into looks good, and you tried a known working model from the DDD. And it didn't work. If it were mine, I would pull out the MPU and remove the Mother Board and check under it for a coin or screw or something under it possibly causing a short. I know you're going through a lot of work but that's what it takes to cross off all things that can go wrong. Actually we had one a while back where the c/c wasn't working and the guy unplugged and plugged back in all the molex connectors going in behind the MPU, with the power off of course. You might try that first. It fixed his. My point with the mother board is, you know your MPU is working, I'd swap the mother board from DDD to Moolah and put it all back together and try that. The trouble could be the Mother board.

I put the DDD board in the Moolah and after clearing the 65-3 & 1 the insert coin was flashing however as the DDD had credits it would play


so I changed the CC from DDD and it accepts coins and works. so now ?


Now I'm going to put moolah in DDD and check it out.
I'll let you know.


do think a clear on the moolah? they changed its value and I have to do the BVD anyway.

Well you're getting somewhere. The flashing insert coin could be a bad ground or something like that. So the Mother Board is good because it plays with the T/D MPU and the C/C from the other machine works too. Sounds like progress to me. I wouldn't do a clear until you have to. You only need the set chip to enable the B/V.

ok moolah board in DDD and CC stuck on 65-1 if I close the door and JP it it goes straight to accounting.  but the insert coin is not blinking

For a 65-1 you open the door and push the test button for a few seconds then close the door. Don't turn the key.

Works    the CC from the DDD worked with the moolah board in the moolah machine.


So there is a difference between a CC-16 4B and 4C maybe like you said the voltage.


Unfortunately I have 2 4C's that don't work on my machines, so now I will hunt one down.

So the Moolah is working but you have to use the TD comparator? Did it stop the flashing insert coin?

yes after I dropped a coin in it stopped blinking and takes coins and works great.


now have turn on BVD and she is good to go.

Sweeeeeet! You have the set chip for the B/V I think, you should be good to go.     The vendors on the home page should have a CC that will be correct.
