i cant get the machine to go past Please close main door i bought new board changed the optics with known working ones still dosent see the door is closed. Dose anyone know what it might be thank you.

Have you used a Camera to validate the optics are working ?
A digital camera (or cell phone camera) will show the optics lit, where as you cannot see with the naked eye.

I am not questioning the optics as you said they came from a known working source, I am questioning if they are lit (or not). Not being lit may indicate a wiring or board issue.

I would also check out your cash can and/or door. In my S+ my cash can door had its locked removed. There were inline optics and I ended up using a small strip of electrical tape to hold It closed.

Are they properly aligned? Try lifting the latch with the door closed an 1/8 inch at a time and see if the VFD screen changes.

They are in line and if I move little up or down no change

Check the belly door switch, it's part of the same circuit

Do you have the door optics installed correct? One is for only the door the other is only for the cabinet, but they both have the same connector plugs. One is Red with a White wire, and the other is Red and Black wires. If they are reversed or you have both the same wire colors installed they wonâ€™t work. I learned this the hard way a few years back.

I am still of the opinion if your optics are not lighting you wonâ€™t achieve a door closed state.
This may be the Io board that is being identified etc. Or you could have your send receive wired in backwards.

The only way to see the optics lit is with a digital camera.

The door circuit doesn't run through the IO cards, it runs directly to the motherboard. You may have an issue with the motherboard

ok friday ill try to get by my buddys and try the mpu in his machine to rule that out then i guess ill go from there
