Hi,

I have a Bally 1088 electromechanical and the display on the door does not work, it is powered by 12 volts
Does anyone know this display system because nothing appears and there is no reference?
Three wires are connected but a fourth location exists.

That machine is not a 1088. It is a variation of the 831 three line.

Good I Richard A 1088 should be a buy a pay not a three-line machine still a pretty sweet machine get it running and play it and enjoy it

Looks like an E1000 of some kind to me.

With limited picture that's my guess. I could be wrong.

Thatâ€™s a E Series reel glass by looking at the win meter. I think the games glass has been swapped out at sometime.

Can we get some pictures of the inside of this game to clear this up.

why is everyone leading this guy down the wrong path? The win meter is for an em machine - and there is no way to or reason for anyone to wire and e/m win meter!! just because the reel glass is wrong?

Yes someone did, BUT. They were going off the machines reel glass. I admit the meter is for a EM, but the glass give you the first impressing of what your looking at. If you didnâ€™t have the door open and no cabinet tag youâ€™d think it was E Series. Half the machine Iâ€™ve had that had this style payout counter didnâ€™t work. I only see 3 wires. Doesnâ€™t this meter need 4?

3 wires - the orange wire is jump - one wire is the stepup the other the reset. hopper in picture one is an e/m - a lot of posts that are off topic. lets get rid of the NUMBER OF POSTS

Hi all,

The machine seems to be a Bally 1088 from 1970
She was in a Holland casino and then on a fair in Holland
I completely disassembled, cleaned, repainted and reassembled
It works perfectly now

Looks and smells like an EM.
Good to hear your winner paid meter is working. Most likely contacts.
When the machine is cold it may be off a few coins.
Photos for anyone else that might have a ? about the meter.
