Photo of Multi-Denomination board setup on door?
« on: September 16, 2018, 08:16:48 PM »
can anyone by any chance post some photos of their setup on the inside of the door showing how they hooked up a multi denomination board. I have a big Times Pay and May want to upgrade to have the different option. Not sure what needs to be done wiring wise if I do purchase it. Thanks!

Does your game already have a 663 credit display? That means 6 digits for credit and win display and 3 for coins bet. If it does, then you just need the touchpad assembly with shadow box and interconnect cord to plug into the 663 display. Along with clear and key chips for setup. Sorry I can't post pictures, I abandoned all the touchpad crap when they started failing left and right. In my personal opiniin, selecting your denom from a button on the player button deck is a much better and longer lasting way to go

It appears you have a 552 display, the wiring for a button to use multidenom is already there, tied up by the max bet button. I forgot to mention you will also need to verify that you have a multi-denom VS chip installed. If the machine has a split screen top/bottom line display, then you likely have the right chip, but can verify by pulling the MPU and looking. The code on the chip will end in X1. Just install a button and program the feature

Like cowboygames mentioned, check your VS chip to make sure it has multi-denom capability.

My version chip is VS011NX5

When I go into my keychip settings, I do have options for multi denominations, touch pad settings, etc. I do not have a spare set of wires near my max bet

My bad, your picture really looked like a 2 digit display for credits on my phone, but you're in good shape, you just need the shadow box with dividers, touchpad and wiring harness to go to the credit display. If you don't already have them you'll also need a clear and key chipset. Clear 224 and key 45 work best

Get a hold of one of our homepage vendors for the touchboard, it's harness and the dividers that go inside the box. Sounds like you have everything else

Just wanted to update the post. Ended up buying the touch panel, the harness, and the dividers. Also he supplied a bunch of different denomination stickers/cards. So now my machine is running $1, $2 and $5. Worked perfectly. Thank you all so much!
