I would replace them with leds, they last longer and make your panel look white, instead of that off yellow color.  BB1's use 6v T1-3/4 bulbs.

I bought mine from suzo happ a long time ago, they appear to be out of stuck for a couple of months though.

Spin Inc has some listed on their web site:

It's a typo a T5 wedge would be 5/8 inch in diameter, which that bulb is clearly not as it is meant to go in the little push switches.  The correct name is T1-3/4.

Unless there's a typo.  I would call them to verify. They have another LED listed at T1-3/4 but have a regular bulb in the photo while the description says led.

I've ordered the 6v from Spin, and those work fine.

Not to hijack the thread, but I had something weird happen to me last week with regard to the LEDs that I put into my BB1.

I had ordered the 6v LEDs from SpinInc. a few weeks ago, and dutifully replaced the ones that were in there.  Everything was great, until on one of the buttons, it started to flicker.  I figured it might be a bad bulb, so I opened it up to replace it with another fresh 6v.  Well, on initial contact, the new lit, but then promptly went out, and wouldn't light again.  I even put it in a different button, and no dice.  Put back the flickering one, and that refused to work, too.

I had some 12v LEDs that I bought for my Game King, so I took one of those to see if it would work.  I put the 12v in, and it works just fine, and surprisingly, as bright as the 6v.

Kinda wondering if there's a short in there or something.

Thanks!

There is more than one way depending on the type of switch that was used on your button panel.  WMS used at least two types.

1.  Twists off.
2.  Tilt off (you tilt the switch assembly to one side and remove)
