IGT S + HELP!!!

I had to replace the battery and clear the rom and used a set 15.

I have a sp772 game prom and ss3633 reel prom I have a issue with the bill validator which is a dbv 200 b123 the inside led's light and it cycles and also checked to see if the in optics were ok and I guess they are because it cycles when I take it out and put it back in but the bezel does not light .

 I have tested the bezel lights thru the menu and they do light.

I have check all cables and connections.

 I had use of the coin acceptor but now from messing with the settings it will not take a coin so now im stuck http://newlifegames.com/nlg/Smileys/default/Scratch-Head.gif

All sounds good but it sounds like you used a clear chip and not a set chip.
You need to use a Set Chip to activate and set the BV denomiation. So if you used a Set 15, did you set the dennomiation to be 25c or something...
The fundementals are that the S+ works on credits, not coins or bills.
Here is what I mean:
When you insert a coin you get one credit. What kind of coin was it ?? the machine doesn't know. Your coin comparitor has a sample coin, if the coin matches you get a credit, if it doesn't the coin gets rejected back out to the coin tray.
So when you insert a dollar bill, a five, ten or twenty how many credits do you get for a dollar ?? The set chip informs the machine and validator that it is a 25c (or other chosen denomiation) that the machine is a 25c - which means you get 4 credits for a dollar. In my home configuration I don't use bills much and I run my machine off tokens not coins. Subsequently I have my signage setup for 25c (the size of a token) but I use my bill valdiator as a 1c so I get 100 credits for a dollar.
You can get a set chip from any of our vendors (on the home page) - and you use it exactly the same way you did with your clear chip.

Yes I used a clear chip then a set chip 15

im setting it to 9 1 and the denom to 25c is that wrong

9 1 is correct.
Then 6 25
make sure you keep pressing the self test button to move forward.

UPDATE    got everything other than bill acceptor to work still the bezel doesn't light on ithe or take bills

How about the protocol ?
Different games have different protocols.
This is adjusted by the BV dip switches.

Put a fork in it all done I have figured it out . I did not know you needed to install the game chip after a clear before using a set chip for the dbv and so I may say it all works perfect. THANK YOU FOR ALL YOUR HELP
