S2000 Enhanced MPU Sound Problems

Decided to install an enhanced setup in my S2000 using a 3CM3R1L DD kit.
I have absolutely zero sound other than the handle solenoid clicking on reel stops. :Tiny_Violin:

Using a piggyback board with a DSV42 SIMM card.
I know the machine senses the SIMM card installed because when I turn it on, the Game volume is preset at the Max of 10.
That's when I turn it down to like 2.
However, there aren't any options for the multimedia card to set in the sound settings.

MPU, piggyback board, audio amp board, chips, DSV42, and audio harnesses (mostly green and white wiring) are all double-checked for continuity are were installed in another cabinet for testing and are known working.

The only other thing I can think of is to change out the backplane?
I thought the enhanced boards are supposed to be the best audio boards in an S2000?  :hissyfit: :banghead: :fuel_on_fire: :rotfl:

Sounds like a bad SIMM if you don't see the options. I assume you do have the DSP chip installed?

There's nothing in it on any of my 3 piggyback boards!

Okay,  thank you very much RB...I'll check around and see what I have...maybe I'll have some sounds later this evening!

I only had M27c64's, M27c512's, M27c040's, M27c080's, and M27c1001's on hand...no 800's
Sometimes they just won't fully erase for some reason so I ordered a bunch of 801's online.
I'll update after I burn some data files onto the new ones when they get in.
Might be awhile....they're coming from Guandong I think....lol
