BARCREST S PLUS power supplies

Have these power supplies available,  These are for the MP5 version , HOWEVER, with a little work they can be converted to use on a MP4 version.

65.00  each plus shipping,  I have plugged these in an measured all the voltages!    Jim

If you have an S+ Barcrest you NEED to grab one of these.. The MPU5 power supply is a much newer design and I have never had one fail.

I can help explain how easy it is to convert the harness from MPU4 to the MPU5 Power Supply.

(Then sell me your Barcrest)  :yes:

I just looked at the label on top of the power supply in my Barcrest topbox....it says "No User Serviceable Parts Inside".

They don't know us.... :24:

Which, MPU4? I have tried to repair them, no luck.. Sent them to a buddy with a bigger brain, no luck.. The only thing that fixed them was cussing at them while tossing them in the dumpster. Problem solved!

There's a whole video on repairing the MPU4 power supply units by Randy Mustachio over on the other website.
He loves his oscillator.
It's like about almost an hour long....I was bored one night and watched it.....haha

Here's a crude confusing pic showing the pins. The MPU4 is a 21pin and the MPU5 a 17pin. You can cut down the connector and use it in the MPU5, just need to swap around the wires on those connectors. -DON'T F THAT UP, it will f up your sh!t.. Harm a BC? I kill for less...

Yes, everyone should be giving me their BC's.. I have 14 and soon to have 15 S+ BC, all different! I gotta get the last few, gottttta!

Sure, can somehow find a 21 pin-to-pin connector, then wire it to a 17pin that can plug in. I searched for pin-to-pin and all that crap to make one. Much easier to pop a pin and change the pinout and plug in. Takes 15min.

Heres a converted MPU4-5 in a Jewel in the crown.
