while you are waiting on the chips, you can determine if the head works and what bills it will accept!
remove one screw that holds the head to the transport, flip the head over, there will be an eprom or a flash memory chip , also two banks of dip switches, all the switches should be toward that eprom or flash chip, we will do this test with you holding the 200 head in your hand, hooked up to the front connector on the left ( comes from the power supply), with no power( unplug the connector) flip dip switch 6 (smaller bank) to the up position, apply power, check for red LEDS right above the power connector, flip switch 6 down, the unit should cycle briefly, you are now in the stand alone test mode, you can insert bills into the unit, if working, it will pull in the bills and run them out the back, you can feed any bill you want, this will determine what software the unit has, when certain bills are rejected, you get an idea of what software is in the machine.
when finished, put it back together.
