Game King Cash collect door question

When I open the front bill access door on my Game King I get the warning that it has been accessed but when I close it the warning won't clear, I have to open and close the main door to clear the warning. Any ideas?

 It used to work correctly  so I know this isn't normal. I can't believe nobody knows what I should check to correct this?

Why not just bypass the BV door switch?

When I open the door it lights the candle and shows the cash door open. But when I close it, it won't clear or turn off the candle unless I open and close the main door. It used to turn off the candle and clear the open door when I closed the Cash door. It might have started when I reset the machine but I'm  ot sure because I hadn't  opened the cash door in a while since reset. Is there a setting that the reset could have changed or is it more likely something mechanical?
I know the switch isnt bypassed and it works when I open the belly door but it doesn't seem to work when I close the belly door. Any ideas?
