Konami Machine Repair
« on: July 05, 2021, 10:16:00 AM »
:nlg-logo:I have a Konami Gigantic 7's Machine that I had to change the batteries on.  After Putting in new batteries I got a data mismatch error.  I did a clear and it said ram cleared then went into a Page 373 error and locks up there.  I am glad to pay someone for some help getting my machine running again.

You did the Ram clear and then went through all the set up steps?

After I did the RAM clear it say all RAM cleared then goes into the page 373 error and locks up there.  I can't get to the set-up screen.
Thanks for responding,    Terry

I've had issues and discovered that eproms were not completed seated. You had to remove a board to get access to one or more of the batteries?

This thread has some ideas.

http://newlifegames.com/nlg/index.php?topic=9435.0;wap

I suppose you could send me the board and I could test it in one of my machines. I have extra boards, software, a clear card that I know works, etc.

Maybe some one with more knowledge will chime in.

Oh, and answer Laneman's question on your location. He knows a ton and may be close to you.

Thanks Rodney.  :)

Check the board to make sure none of the pins are bent and the board is completely seated against the backplane.
Batteries installed up side down?
