Bally E-2000 (E2096-85) Payout Bell Issue

Hoping someone can explain how to enable the payout bell to ring during winning combination. The bell sounds/rings correctly during test mode, but when paying out it is silent. Checked dip switch 1, currently set for ON (Bell).

I do see there are holes in the top, where possibly a candle light setup was originally installed...

It’s possible that your game software isn’t programmed to make the bell ring on every payout, but only on the largest payouts / jackpot. I only have seen a few machines that had a bell on every payout.

Thx for the response Amechanic...

Is there a way to check the features of the ROM installed to verify that, as I have noticed on a couple of my slots that the DIP settings for switches 2-6 are slightly different, and thought that might be one of the settings...

I have another E-2000 that rings the bell on all payouts, large or small...
