Blade with NVRAM corrupted error, help please
« on: August 26, 2023, 04:01:55 AM »
Good morning, companions. I come looking for help.
I have changed the game of my Blades for some multigames, I made the ram clear and everything is fine, when I replace and introduce a lot of OS card, when I start it gives me an NVRAM corrupted error.
The voltage of the batteries is 3.3 V and they are well placed.
I've tried another set of games/optional system, and got the same result, I think the aNVRAM clear is not done right. But the truth is that in the Ram clear process it does the ram process and the two banks correctly.
I reinstall the game that I had, and it worked fine and it gives me the same result, Error, and altered system.
Please can someone give me some idea or advice to try and try to solve this problem.
Thanks for your time, best regards

make sure your mpu is seated all the way down.  Also try removing the batteries and using another set, even if they show 3.3v.  I would also clean the contacts inside the battery holder with an eraser or with detox.

Thanks Rickhunter, so I will. I took out the Mpu to check the batteries and make sure that it makes good contact, anyway, check again that it never hurts.
A question in case you know. I don't have much experience with these systems.
Can I do a ram clear, with just the cleanup CF card, without the game in its position? Or this doesn't make sense.
In case there is a method to erase the NVRAM (I don't know which part is from the MPU) Make it effective.
Thank you very much for your time and advice.

You don't need to have the gamecard in the other slot to do a clear.  It doesn't really matter, I've done it both ways. Running the clear card process erases NVRAM and eeprom and "formats" it so when a new game is installed the configuration can be saved to it.
