Caille Slot Identification and Valuation
« on: July 31, 2024, 05:44:08 PM »
I recently acquired 2 slot machines. A 2002 hyper remix. And this 1930s caille. The horizontal cross bar serial is 92015 and the coin mech serial is 40978. The machine is in functional condition. It spins. It pays out regular hits, I haven't hit a jackpot yet. It's a nickel machine. I'll include a bunch of pictures. I'm hoping to get a positive identification of what I believe to be a Cadet but not sure if a subtype or if I'm even right. As well as a rough valuation and maybe a lead on a buyer or expert in my area(Mid michigan) the only piece I can tell is missing is the rear cabinet lock.

Throwing some more pictures in to aid Identification as I don't know what the tell tale signs are or where they're located.

Great looking machine.
Unfortunately I'm more familiar with Mills and Jennings machines. Our expert is very busy now, and out of his home state but I'll PM him to see if he can chime in.
Value of slot machines really depends on demand and sometimes location, at least with more "modern" machines.
For right now, try posting on www.coinopcollectorforum.com with your questions and photos. Sadly one of their best members passed last year, but hopefully someone there will reply. That forum is specifically for antique mechanical machines, where NLG is primarily for machines from the 70's and up. If they ask you for a code, send me a PM and I'll give it to you.
Hope this helps!!

I posted there simultaneously and one member said he's sure it's a cadet.

Could you give me a value estimate on 2 mills machines? A wolf's head nickel machine and a 10c hi top 777 with the increased 20$ jackpot?
