IPC Controller missing the Extended Memory Card

Is there any way to get this to work, or is it mandatory to have the card in place?  I am not having any luck with the one I came across.  Flashes fine but then complains about the missing card when it reboots.

Anyone know where I can obtain the memory card?

It appears that it is required to operate.

May be helpful to post a pic of the inside of that IPC.  It will be obvious to those in the know what is missing.

Lower right hand corner of unit when you have it open. Is it the daughter board with the battery.

Yes, that is the memory board if you are missing it.

Makes me wonder why it is missing.  Whoever you bought the IPC from shoud provide it.
