swapping games in s2000
« on: September 24, 2024, 01:10:46 PM »
machine is up n running!!!

Seems the 2 machines were pretty much the same outside as inside, except 4 reel machines need to have the black plastic coated io cards in them...not the other metal wrapped cards.

i swapped reels in a machine with the same cards and machine works great.

Hi folks...im sure someone can enlighten me on this issue, as youve never let me down yet!!

taking a WORKING 5 times pay 5r9l out of machine....installing a 4 reel 9 line red hot 7.

have switched the backlite controller board, shelf and reels, cleared 504 board, new software installed and set up.

updated info...could be important.....the old machine that housed the 4reel game used an 1270 board...the 5 times pay uses the 504 board...

heres where the issue is....after setting up software, close the door, the reels only move about 1 icon up and come to a complete stop.  they normally spin several times for a few seconds to set themselves up to play.
i get a reel 1 tilt after this very partial spin...machine will not go further.  ive checked...nothing is hitting the reels in front or back...its the original reel tray and reels

the software that was originally installed in the 4 reel machine was sb101256, sg369, gx1
not sure what the issue is, altho imi pretty sure its software driven, possibly a control board issue somewhere?
any help is greatly appreciated, as id really love to get this 4 reel machine working....5 times pay, well...not really into that one.
thanks in advance!!!!
Steve
