S2000 Double Diamond Tray Sound

I recently purchased my S2000 Double Diamond machine and there is no sound coming from the tray speaker.  When I received the machine the speaker was not connected but I my the connection and still no sound.  I did a simple ohm test on  the speaker and it seems okay. 
Called the seller and he said none of the S2000's had tray sound and in fact they had shipped several thousand of the machines and none had tray speaker sound.  I find this strange since there is wiring and I traced it back to a connector and it appears in tact.

Any help on this would be greatly appreciated.

except for the very early s2, all of them have sound to the tray speaker. trace the wires up into the wire bundle and see if the that set is plugged together. it's a small white 2 pin plug that's hard to get to

most of the time the connection on the tray does not mate with the cabinet plug, that is one possibility, make sure that cabinet plug is not damaged.

second is the actual connection that hotlsot mentioned.

the other is that it is not plugged in on the amp board, another two pin plug.

I kind of drew a line of the 2-pin connector Jim was talking about, from where comes out of the audio amplifier board up on the right-hand side in the topbox.
It goes down thru the topbox junction box in that harnessing.
If you look at it underneath, following, you'll see a pair of green and white wires coming out of the plug running down to the tray speaker.

Thanks for all of the input.  I have checked everything in the lower cabinet and it looks good.  I am trying to figure out how to get into the top portion now.

The top connector was not inserted into the board.  Everything is good and it sounds great!
