IGT AVP SMLD Indiana Jones The Last Crusade Progress
I am leaving this here in hopes that someday in the next few years someone might know someone or locate one of these machines in a storage until somewhere... Please remember this post & I will share knowledge, purchase the top box proprietary IJ parts , trade other parts to get your game going as well!!!!
If I can locate the very unique 2 parts below plus harnesses optionally or the wiring internal IGT diagram I can get this masterpiece going pictured below in the inside of the top box from IGT documentation:
USB Blackfin Reel Driver Board (for the wheel) PCB WHEEL MTR DRIVER - 75438101W EX
USB Based Spectrum Progressive Controller Boards (inside USB not netplex common style based spectrum progressive displays) - PCB SMLC SPEC INTERFACE - 75437500W
The very large WOF like top glass would be a huge score also so if you ever see the IJ top glass that would be amazing...
I can clear the tilts and get this game spinning!
The reel driver board in a quarter circle shaped USB blackfin board, which probably only existed in this cabinet (not the same as the AVP Wheel of Fortune Board or Bombs Away Reel Driver Board), I can load the wheel driver firmware onto it and clear the remaining tilts hopefully!
The spectrum progressive display design for this is odd, because it happens to have 3 spectrum boards (1 for the normal progressive amounts which I have and works in this cabinet, a second same spectrum pcb board mounted to the back (why 2 IGT thats weird) and then a 3rd small spectrum multiplier display above the cabinet in the topper connected to the second spectrum board responsible for displaying how much to multiply the wheel bonus award by.
The harness I built connects to the spectrum board to the spectrum multiplier board but to-date no action there and believe me I tried it with multiple toppers to ensure the boards are good up to which they are.
I believe the IJ Blackfin Firmware to the reel driver must also contain communication capabilities to the spectrum display multiplier in the topper and until I can locate a cabinet somewhere and borrow the harness and pcb boards in the back of the top box this thing will never play right with our red screens from cheating the tilts with newer boards with more stops on the wheel optic rings etc.
Please do message me if you ever locate one of these treasures , do not recycle or destroy the cabinet ;-D
