WANT TO ADD A PROGRESSIVE DISPLAY TO MY S2000-WHICH ONE IS USSER FRIENDLY

Hi
I would like to add a progressive meter to my S2000,but since i have little knowledge of what style or brand is best for a guy who is new to installing and programing these units. I would prefer one that is user friendly for programing.Any ideals out there for what i would need? My glass has the cut out bot glued to back side of glass 2" x 15". And once i find out what i need,i will be in the market for one. I do see a few on eBay,just not sure what is going to work best for me.

Get a spectrum, it does not do the custom messages, just the progressive amount, but it is programmed using the Key chip menu.  The Mikohn requires a PC with a serial port to program the progressive and there are more parts to the system (power supply, display, controller, and harnesses).  The Spectrum is just the bracket, display and a harness that connects to the topbox netplex distribution board.

Just be aware that the Mikohn meter and the Spectrum meter are different length.  So the opening in the glass will be different depending upon which meter your use.  Most of the glass out these was sized for the Mikohn.

 My cut out opening is 15" x 2" is that standard most common size ? Will spectrum meter fit? Also I'm using Tito deluxe unit,will that change things? And if i got the MIKOHN unit could i have it reprogrammed before it gets to me? Or dose it have to be installed on machine first  to program?

You can have it programmed, but it does loose the program data over time if not installed and powered up.

Rick is referring to the Mikohn CHAMII+.........but you still have to set the machine up for whichever you are using, even if the Mikohn is pre-programmed.
