Williams Winning Bid
« on: October 03, 2015, 08:28:32 AM »
:Scratch-Head: looking for help with this machine. It runs in super slow motion. I have done a ram clear, that made no difference. Anyone else have this problem and a solution. Thanks James

I am assuming you are running the legacy version (WMS 36x/55x platform) Is it running on original software? Usually when I had this issue, there was a problem with the sound chips.  If you have an eprom burner, I would red a verify checksum vs a known good chip dump.

Also if your eproms are not 100ns or better, you may have issues similar to what you describe.

Remove all chips, clean legs with erase from a pencil and put back.

Not the CPU, it is an 80188 chip, does not even need passive cooling.
